Today Mom and I went shopping. We hit Tims and then to Langley. We got lots done and had a great day. We were even able to squeeze and Egg Nog Latte in at the end. Love being with my mom, especially when I have her all to myself...no kids to share her with.
This was a day off for Mark, well, sort of. When I called he said he napped all day and had me a wee bit worried. I got home and they were all out picking up Faith from ballet. There was a note on the counter not to look under the tea towel. When they got home Jess pulled the towel off to surprise me with 4 different types of cookies. They had been busy. They each made a separate recipe with Daddy. We all dug in and had a small sample of each. (Small...yeah right..they were basically our dinner and then I wondered why Nate was getting so crazy this evening) They had a great day with their Dad, making Shortbread, Peanut Butter Cookies, Sugar Cookies and Chocolates Crinkles. The kitchen was even cleaner than when I left it, gotta love that!

Oh wow! I don't know what I'm more impressed with...a husband who bakes cookies with the kids or the fact that the kitchen was spotless when you got home!
